Memorial Day Flag Planting

Blue Star Mothers of Oregon have been asked to assist in planting 140,000 flags at Willamette National Cemetery. The cemetery provides the flags; the volunteer is encouraged to follow a respectful protocol. Wipe the headstone, place the flag, read the veteran’s name aloud, and offer a salute.
