Memorial Day Flag Planting
Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, Oregon, United StatesBlue Star Mothers of Oregon have been asked to assist in planting 140,000 flags at Willamette National Cemetery. The cemetery provides the flags; the volunteer is encouraged to follow a respectful protocol. Wipe the headstone, place the flag, read the veteran's name aloud, and offer a salute.
